Seal-Tite International has recently restored production to a subsea well in 7500’ of water in the Mississippi Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico. The production rates of the well are approximately 1000 barrels of oil per day and 30 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
The well was experiencing a leak on the production packer indicating loss of pressure containment integrity. Seal-Tite was contacted to provide a long-lasting solution for the issue so that the well could be put back on production.
Using Seal-Tite International’s Engineered Sealants and Procedures the packer integrity was restored and the well was given approval to open up for production!!
